The biology of a hotelier
LeePrime Group CEO Liliya Dorokhina gave a lecture, "Human biology", to participants of the Moscow School Students' Olympiad in Ecology at ROSBIOTECH university.
Today a hotelier provides not only service and comfort but a new approach to preserving health. Hoteliers have to understand the trends of preventive medicine and somnology. Light, colour, aroma and temperature directly affect sleep, stress, cognitive performance and recovery. By managing them, we are in effect regulating our guests' health.
"This is an invitation to think like scientists and creators," the speaker noted. The lecture took place on the day of the olympiad's final stage for years 10–11, encouraging young ecologists to apply their knowledge in real LeePrime Group projects.
The Moscow School Students' Olympiad in Ecology is the key competition for young ecologists from Moscow and the regions.
The olympiad is run by the Moscow Department of Education and Science for school students in years 5–11, with admission benefits for university programmes in ecology, biology and earth sciences.
