International conference "Partnership in medical education and medical tourism"

Adel Vafin, General Manager of LeePrime medical, took part in the international conference "Partnership in medical education and medical tourism: Russia and the countries of the Muslim world", organised by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation in the conference hall of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque.

Those invited included the heads of relevant agencies, rectors of medical universities, representatives of the largest hospitals and leading experts in medical tourism.
The conference's main themes were the recognition of joint educational programmes and specific measures to support universities and clinics in entering the markets of the Muslim world. Separate attention was given to developing service standards for foreign patients from countries with a predominantly Muslim population.

Adel Vafin presented the broad opportunities that open up for Russian clinics and educational institutions through cooperation with LeePrime medical. Using the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital in Kazan as an example, he demonstrated experience of international cooperation, the introduction of high-technology diagnostic and treatment methods, the creation of distinctive centres of competence, the introduction of quality standards in medical care, the promotion of medical service exports, the introduction of Halal standards and the creation of conditions for Muslim prayer.
