LeePrime Group to build an active longevity resort in Sochi

The property will be managed by the independent Russian company LEEPRIME Group (part of the AVA Group investment and construction holding). The corresponding agreement was signed between LEEPRIME Group, the administration of Krasnodar Krai and the municipal administration during SPIEF-2022.

The concept of the property is a mindful attitude to health and active longevity. Finding a balance of youth, beauty and health — not only physical, but also emotional, mental and spiritual — will be made possible by the broad expertise of medical specialists, innovative technological equipment, the therapeutic potential of natural resources and effectively complementary signature spa & wellness programmes.

"Given the steadily growing tourist flows to the Black Sea coast, demand for quality health resort services is growing as well. That is why it is especially important now to develop the infrastructure of Krasnodar Krai at an accelerated pace, creating health resorts that meet high international standards of hotel and medical service," notes Sergey Lee, managing partner of LEEPRIME Group.

The sanatorium will run a professional medical programme built on a holistic approach to restoring each guest's bodily ecosystem. The resort's key principles are considered and consonant: check-ups and early diagnostics, information and integrative medicine, hydrotherapy and balneology, phytotherapy and naturopathy, spa, wellness and physiotherapy, the fundamentals of healthy nutrition and detox, somnology, biorhythms and emotional assertiveness — Medvezhy Ugol will become a new hub for maintaining the health of the resort's guests and residents at every level.

The property, on a plot of more than 72,000 sq m, will be completed by the investor and brought into operation in 2026. The sanatorium complex will comprise three buildings of varying height (4–6 storeys), a hydrotherapy centre with a consulting and diagnostic centre, and ancillary premises. The room stock is designed for 121 rooms. Investment will amount to 3 billion roubles.

The Medvezhy Ugol complex will attract additional tourist flows to the region, including medical tourism, and will create more than 400 new jobs for the residents of Sochi, supporting the development goals of the resort city.
