Uzbekistan hosted an international academic and practical conference on "Modern aspects of health resort treatment, medical rehabilitation and tourism"

On 25–26 May 2023 the team of LeePrime medical, as part of the delegation from Russia, took part in the international academic and practical conference "Modern aspects of health resort treatment, medical rehabilitation and tourism".

The Russian Federation's delegation was headed by A. D. Fesyun, MD, acting Director of the National Medical Research Centre for Rehabilitation and Balneology of Russia's Ministry of Health. The event took place in the Republic of Uzbekistan, on the outskirts of Tashkent, at the new Sevarsoy SPA sanatorium. It was organised by the Health Resort Department of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan.

Speakers at the conference included experts from more than 15 countries, among them China, Italy, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Israel, the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation and others. The programme covered many aspects, including the prospects for bilateral cooperation and joint research in medical rehabilitation and health resort treatment.

Presentations covered the development of preventive healthcare systems, protection against infectious diseases, the use of natural therapeutic factors and resources, and innovative technologies in physiotherapy and rehabilitation after COVID-19.

During the event, Adel Vafin, General Manager of LeePrime medical, gave a presentation and an interview to Uzbekistan's central television channel. The company's experience in applying innovative technologies for rehabilitating patients after COVID-19 drew the attention of industry experts.

LeePrime Group is developing a partnership with the Republic of Uzbekistan to exchange experience and grow medical tourism between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
